Hi there!
Thanks for asking. This is a great question. I personally am not vegan, but I have for the most part stuck to a more plant based diet. I believe that it’s all in the intent and what your reasons are for going Vegan. In most cases, it is to strive to do no harm to any sentient life. This however does not mean that vegans have never subconsciously done harm to any living form. Just by simply living we are disrupting the natural cycle of life, whether on a greater or smaller scale; We drive cars, we farm, we build cities, etc.
Collecting nectar and regurgitating it repeatedly until it’s partially digested is part of the natural process of life for honeybees. Although humans inadvertently profit from this, it does not mean that the bees are harmed during pollination or that they essentially “live to serve humans”. Unlike the process of dairying today, where machines are used to milk cows in a way where it’s extremely inhumane. In other words, I believe we should only do things for the right reasons. I stick mostly to a plant based lifestyle for health reasons, however, I do seek to prevent from participating in anything that could have stemmed from any form of animal cruelty.

Good morning all
Started my morning off today with a sweet strawberry almond bowl. 

Using the Vitamix
2 frozen bananas
1/2 of a Hawaiian papaya
1 soft golden pear 
1 large tsp of honey flax almond butter
4 chopped dates
7 frozen strawberries
Add organic vanilla almond milk
Add ice

Blend until smooth

Top off with strawberries, kiwis,  peach slices, and seeds.

Enjoy!

1 orange (squeezed)
1/2 of a soft golden pear 
1/2 of a raw golden beet 
1/2 cup of carrots

Add organic vanilla almond milk
Add ice

Blend until smooth

Top off with lots of dragon fruit.

In San Diego this morning and the weather is beautiful! Breakfast was chlorella honey ancient grain oats, soaked in hemp milk and topped off with berries, bananas, half of a whole wheat fig bar, hemp hearts, sweet coconut flakes,  and pumpkin seeds.
